Q: What is the cost of this dual-sport adventure?
A: The cost is $9,950 per person (plus applicable tax) for a private room ($7350) for a shared room. This is a high-end off-road event with a lot of incredible luxuries. This literally is a one-of-a-kind—maybe even once-in-a-lifetime—event. We believe this is the most exclusive on and off-road ride in world.
Q: Are guests allowed?
A: Guests are typically not permitted. We want to create a cool and intimate vibe; small groups work best, but we reserve the right to make exceptions.
Q: Does Speed & Sport Adventures supply bikes?
A: We have several KTM 350 & 500 EXCs for rent at $650 each for the three days. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis. All guests are encouraged to bring their own bikes or rent one through another source, something we may be able to help you with.
Q: Do I need a valid motorcycle driver’s license?
A: Yes, because this is a dual-sport ride and we will be riding on some public roads.
Q: Will I need special insurance?
A: At a minimum, you are required to have personal health insurance and motorcycle insurance for riding on public roads. These should be things you already have as a dual-sport rider.
Q: What is included in my adventure?
A: A private bedroom at an amazing, truly unique location, daily room refresh service, welcome party, all meals/snacks/beverages, motorcycle fuel, activities, bike washing, riding gear cleaning, support vehicle and on-site support staff. Plus professional photography by Mark Kariya and Ken Faught, two names you've seen in magazines and newspapers for years.
Q: What is not included in my motorcycle vacation?
A: Transport to the event location, motorcycle, service on your personal motorcycle, motorcycle insurance and health insurance.
Q: What do you do other than ride?
A: We intend to go helicopter mountain biking or helicopter fishing (weather pending), world-class bench racing, cornhole, horseshoes, swimming, pool, table tennis and a surprise or two. Heck, there may even be three or four surprises. Click HERE to see the detailed daily itinerary for this event.
Q: How long will the rides be?
A: We anticipate riding approximately 7-9 hours the first day, 4-5 the second day and 7-9 hours the third day. Riders will be traveling from private residence to locations that are also on private property.
Q: What happens if a motorcycle breaks down on the ride?
A: We will make our best effort to get it repaired on the spot and will have a support vehicle to pick up motorcycles that are not repairable. We intend to also have one spare motorcycle on-hand for such situations.
Q: How do I reserve a spot on a ride?
A: By making a $3,500 non-refundable deposit online today! balance is due 90 days before the first day of the ride. If not paid, we will release your spot to another rider and your deposit is forfeited. Click HERE if you're ready to book!
Q: What’s the refund policy?
A: There are no refunds. Because of the cost and the unique nature of the event, it may be difficult to find replacement riders on short notice. This ride is rain or shine.
Q: Do I bring my own riding gear and helmet?
A: Yes, you are responsible for all your own safety equipment.
Q: Is fuel included?
Q: What about food and beverages?
A: This is an all-inclusive experience and that includes food and beverages. The fare will be a combination of restaurants that we ride to, along with prepared meals at the mansion and on the trail that are prepared by a professional chef and our staff.
Q: Can I cancel my reservation without recourse because of inclement weather?
A: No, because we have to pay for many of the services months in advance. This ride is rain or shine and no need to worry because we will make the best of it, no matter what!
Q: What should I pack?
A: Your bike (unless you rent one in advance), riding gear, spare parts, tools, casual clothes, swimwear, any medications, cell phone and anything else you normally carry with you while traveling. We recommend you check the weather forecast 2-3 days prior to the events dates so you can pack appropriate attire. There may not be close access to a store.
Q: Do I need experience?
A: Yes. Although this is not an extremely difficult ride, we recommend you have at least five years off-road riding experience to be considerate of the other riders and for your safety.
Q: Will I have access to Internet/WiFi at the house?
Q: What is the minimum age?
A: 21 years old.
Q: Will I have a roommate?
A: If you book a private bedroom, then no. All rooms are unique and all guest rooms are assigned upon booking. If you signed up for the shared option at a reduced price then you will share a room.
Q: How many riders are in the group?
A: Each ride is different. For Park City, there will be around a dozen riders, plus photographers, celebrity riders and support staff also participating. It’s why we believe this will be the world’s best and most exclusive dual-sport ride.
Q: How far in advance should I book the tour?
A: As soon as possible. We expect it to sell out fast, and booking is done on a first-come, first-served basis. Note that those who book the first tour will have the first rights on the next event and will have a 30-day window to book before any tour is offered to the general public.
Q: Do I have to ride at the event?
A: No, you can do all of the activities around the basecamp and hand-pick what you want to do off-site.
Q: Will I learn anything at this event?
A: Unquestionably yes. The staff has a diverse background and we hope people learn how to be a better rider and lot about trail advocacy. If you are a business owner, there will be time for you to have one-on-one with some of our marketing experts as well.
