Q: What is the cost of the event.

A: Please refer to the upcoming tours page located on our website here.

Q: Are guests allowed?

A: Guests are typically not permitted, but we do occasionally make exceptions if the event is capable of accommodating. We want to create a cool and intimate vibe; small groups work best, but we reserve the right to make exceptions.

Q: Does Speed & Sport Adventures supply bikes?

A: No, but we typically have rental bikes available.

Q: Do I need a valid motorcycle driver’s license?

A: For the dual sport rides and adventure bike tours, yes, because we will be riding on some public roads. But for off-road tours you do not need a driver's license.

Q: Will I need special insurance?

A: At a minimum for our tours that use public roads, you are required to have personal health insurance and motorcycle insurance for riding on public roads. These should be things you already have as a dual-sport or adventure bike rider. For off-road rides we strongly suggest you have medical insurance to cover any injuries.

Q: What is included in my adventure?

A: Each tour is different. Some provide a private bedroom option at an amazing, truly unique location. Regardless of the tour, we provide a welcome party, all meals/snacks/beverages, motorcycle fuel, activities, support vehicle and on-site support staff. Plus, at our Park City dual sport event, professional photography by Mark Kariya and Ken Faught, two names you've seen in magazines and newspapers for years.

Q: What is not included in my motorcycle vacation?

A: Transport to the event location, motorcycle, service on your personal motorcycle, motorcycle insurance and health insurance.

Q: What do you do other than ride?

A: Activities vary by location,  and typically include a mix of world-class bench racing, cornhole, horseshoes, swimming, pool, table tennis and a surprise or two. Click HERE to see the detailed daily itinerary for this event.

Q: How long will the rides be?

A: We anticipate riding approximately 7-9 hours each day.

Q: What happens if a motorcycle breaks down on the ride?

A: We will make our best effort to get it repaired on the spot and will have a support vehicle to pick up motorcycles that are not repairable. We intend to also have one spare motorcycle on-hand for such situations.

Q: How do I reserve a spot on a ride?

A: By making a non-refundable deposit online today! balance is due 90 days before the first day of the ride. If not paid, we will release your spot to another rider and your deposit is forfeited. Click HERE if you're ready to book!

Q: What’s the refund policy?

A: There are no refunds. Because of the cost and the unique nature of the event, it may be difficult to find replacement riders on short notice. This ride is rain or shine.

A: Yes

Q: What about food and beverages?

A: This is an all-inclusive experience and that includes food and beverages.

A: No, because we have to pay for many of the services months in advance. This ride is rain or shine and no need to worry because we will make the best of it, no matter what!

Q: What should I pack?

A: Your bike (unless you rent one in advance), riding gear, spare parts, tools, casual clothes, swimwear, any medications, cell phone and anything else you normally carry with you while traveling. We recommend you check the weather forecast 2-3 days prior to the events dates so you can pack appropriate attire. There may not be close access to a store.

A: Yes

Q: What is the minimum age?

A: 18 years old.

Q: Will I have a roommate?

A: Most likely yes.

Q: How many riders are in the group?

A: Each ride is different so check the specific tour page for details.

Q: How far in advance should I book the tour?

A: As soon as possible. We expect it to sell out fast, and booking is done on a first-come, first-served basis. Note that those who book the first tour will have the first rights on the next event and will have a 30-day window to book before any tour is offered to the general public.

Q: Do I have to ride at the event?

A: Except for Baja, the answer is no, you can do all of the activities around the basecamp and hand-pick what you want to do off-site. We afford high-end dirt bike vacations, but want to make this a fun experience for others.
