For 2023, Speed & Sport Adventures is co-promoting a zesty 9-day jaunt down the Mexican Peninsula. We call it The Ultimate Baja Adventure - A legend's ride chasing sunsets, dodging cactus, and searching for the ultimate fish tacos. This guided dirt bike tour will feature a 1200-mile off-road ride with motorcycle great Paul Krause. Think this is just another Baja trip? Well, think again. Guests have the option of starting our tour a few days early on the Carnival Miracle cruise ship from Long Beach, California. From there, guests can clear customs in Ensenada and walk off the ship and hop directly on your dirt bike. We can deliver your motorcycle right to the dock, or you can rent a bike from High Desert Adventures.
From Ensenada, there will be seven days of riding, one day of relaxation, and a big party in the incredible resort town of Cabo San Lucas.
This is an exclusive guided dirt bike tour for 17, yes 17 people only. Wives can also join in on the cruise ship action and/or meet the group at the tip of Baja in Cabo.
Whether you are a first-time Baja explorer or a seasoned vet, you will experience something new and unforgettable on your tour with High Desert Adventures and Speed & Sport Adventures. A phenomenal group of experienced lead and sweep riders, a medic, and chase vehicles will provide incredible support, and will transport all your equipment and clothing as we stay in a different town each night.

RIDE WITH BAJA LEGEND PAUL KRAISE
Paul Krause has raced for Team Green Kawasaki, ATK, Husqvarna and Red Bull KTM all over the world. He's won the Baja 500 five times and claimed three overall victories in the legendary Baja 1000. Simply put, he's one of the most-experienced Baja riders of all-time. Paul's also competed in the International Six Days Enduro 11 times, raced the gnarly Dakar Rally, and won SCORE's San Felipe 250. This is the rare opportunity to do a dirt bike tour with a guy that has literally been there, done that!

Our normal dirt bike tour begins in San Diego, California and guests literally walk across the international U.S./Mexico border to Tijuana. Each of the activities below is an upgrade and costs more, and will be custom-tailored to your personal desires. Cruise into Ensenada
While guests who cross the border in Tijuana will stay at the world-famous Horsepower Ranch in Ensenada, we offer the option to leave from Long Beach, California on April 20 and arrive in Ensenada at 8am on April 22. Those who select this option will have their bikes picked up in Long Beach on the morning of April 20 by High Desert Adventures, and then transported to Ensenada where your bike will be waiting for you when you get off the ship.
Stay Longer & Hit A Cabo Resort
Our crew frequently vacations in Cabo San Lucas and knows a lot about the world-class resorts. The picture above was taken from Ken Faught's room at the Grand Solmar which is situated near the famous El Arco arch and the marina. After a quick phone call, we can give you some tips and point you in the right direction for an extended stay. This is one of the reasons why this is one of the best dirt bike tours in the world.
Fly into Horsepower Ranch
For this unique event, we are working with the legendary Jim McCoy on offering V.I.P. helicopter transport from San Diego, California to our first hotel, the famous Horsepower Ranch. McCoy is one of the most-experienced pilots in Baja, as he has provided support for everyone from Team Honda to the legendary Robby Gordon. Passengers literally leave from San Diego, fly over the border, clear customs in Mexico, and then fly to the ranch. This option can be customized for sightseeing along the California coast.

There are dozens of activities to do in Cabo and our crew has done most of them. From riding in glass bottom boats to standup paddle boarding to riding camels on the beach to zip lining and atvs. There's also Jet Skis, Sea Doos, WaveRunners, and of course world-class dining and cocktail indulgence. There are also several beach clubs, snorkeling, diving, and even a place to swim with dolphins. Should you choose to stay longer, we can provide valuable insight on what activities are the best and which tour operators to choose.
